Who We Are
Rensselaer Competitive Programming Club (RCPC) is a student-run community for people who like taking things apart with code and putting them back together—faster, cleaner, and smarter. We run regular meetings and (hopefully soon) workshops to build algorithmic fluency, strengthen problem-solving habits, and prepare members for regional/international competitions and technical interviews. Our goal is simple: make hard ideas feel approachable, and help each other get better week by week.
What We Do
- Weekly practices focused on algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving patterns
- Peer reviews and walkthroughs to learn from the path—not just the result
- WIP - Topic workshops (from beginner fundamentals to advanced techniques)
Our Values
- Learn by doing
- We focus on hands-on practice and concrete takeaways. Fewer superlatives, more solved problems and documented learnings.
- Inclusive and respectful
- RCPC welcomes all RPI students, regardless of background or major. We maintain a supportive environment where questions are encouraged and growth is shared.
- Collaboration with integrity
- We win as a team. We celebrate progress, credit contributors, and uphold academic honesty and club policies at all times.
Membership at RCPC
